Sometimes called a Sam Browne strap; available in plain or basketweave (looks good against leather) black leather with nickel or brass hardware.
Measured from bottom of belt to bottom of belt. (AND No, which shoulder you wear it on does not imply top/bttm, rather that you are left handed or right handed).

Shoulder straps are sized from end to end (including the d-rings).  If you are replacing a shoulder strap, measure it, do not use the imprinted size.

Sam Browne Pistol (Duty) Belts

The classic pistol (duty belt) in fully lined style. (If you want a  half lined version please checkout StationHouse Outfitters in Police Gear ).  Specify waist size to fit over the trouser belt. Measures 2¼ in. wide. Double hook and post closure with over 3 inches of waist adjustment. Available in plain finish with four rows of stitching, in basketweave and Clarino (patent). Heavy brass buckles are available in nickel, brass or black finishes. Sizes 50 to 56 are available by special order. Please contact us with your needs.
